We have had the pleasure and wonderful opportunity of working with Barbara Jean for our alteration needs on several occasions for special occasion and uniform needs. With attention to detail, Barbara Jean is meticulous with keeping the authenticity of a garment while making sure to acquire the perfect stitch while keeping the originality of the piece at hand. Quick turn around and reasonable prices, you will not be disappointed with her craftsmanship. Strongly recommend for all your alteration needs.
Barbara Jean is awesome! After doing some research I found Barbara Jean through a recommendation on Facebook. I previously had a sport coat altered at a dry cleaner establishment and thought it was the perfect fit. That is, until I visited Barbara Jean. She realtered my sport coat and now it fits like it is custom made.
Even though she was in the middle of wedding season and had a deep workload, Barbara Jean knew I needed my sport coat for an interview, she was able to return my jacket to me in an extremely timely fashion, but the quality of work did not suffer, everything looked perfect when it was returned to me, you can’t even tell I had it altered, it simply looks like it was made for me.
A short time later I contacted Barbara Jean again, this time around the Christmas season. I had five dress shirts I wanted shortened in the sleeves. Upon contacted her it was about two days before I had an appointment and was being measured for my shirts. Again even though her family was visiting and she had a heavy workload, Barbara Jean completed by shirts in a timely manner, and of course, they looked perfect.
Barbara Jean is great, I am lucky to have found her as my seamstress and you will be as well. If you are looking for a timely, professional service you cannot go wrong with Barbara Jean.
Barbara is the best!! I live approx. 40 minutes from her and even though there are others closer to me I will continue to have her do my alterations. She does an excellent job and on top of that has the best personality! The first time I meet her I left her business feeling like I knew her a long time.
When she tells you something will be done by a certain time … It WILL BE ready and waiting for you. You will be so happy with the work she does. She is Absolutely the BEST of the BEST!!!
I would highly recommend Barbara Jean’s alterations to anyone who is seeking quality work. She is highly professional and her work is outstanding. I have used her multiple times for bridesmaid and mother of the bride dresses and the work was beautiful and prompt every time. Highly recommend.
